CATS: Good with other cats.

DOGS: Unknown but may be ok with proper introductions.

KIDS: As long as they don't pick him up, he's fine.

KNOWN LIKES: Pets, cat trees, baskets.

KNOWN DISLIKES: Being picked up.

ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:

Gene Simmons is a handsome, sweet boy, about 2 years old. He was found as a stray with an open wound on his back right leg. The shelter tried to wrap it and treat with antibiotics, but it just wasn't healing. After a few rounds of treatment, they took x-rays showing healing fractures, and it was decided that he needed a surgical procedure. They opened up the wound to debride the bone. When flushed, a sliver of bone came out. Poor little guy must have been in so much pain as they were figuring this all out. Always a very sweet boy, he's now feeling so much better! He's safe in rescue to finish out the final healing phase. He's good with other cats but could also be happy to have all of your attention to himself!
