HOW TO MEET THIS ANIMAL: Fill out an application to start the process

LOCATION: Amazing Foster Home!

ADOPTION COORDINATOR: Sheila

ADOPTION FEE: $475

ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: We estimate in the 50-60 lb range.

ESTIMATED AGE: 6-7 months.

KNOWN WITH DOGS: Ringo loves to meet and play with other dogs, and has been very friendly and energetic towards his foster sister. Though Ringo is great with other dogs, he is still learning when older or senior dogs need a break from his puppy energy. He will adjust his play style to other dogs' comfort levels and energy, and plays great with other puppies. He has shown a willingness and desire to share toys, too.

KNOWN WITH CATS: We are not sure about cats specifically, but he has been good with rabbit siblings in his foster home and generally does not pay much attention to them. Since the rabbits are behind a pen, he may try to play with free roaming cats, at least while he is still a puppy.

KNOWN WITH KIDS: Ringo does not live with kids in the foster home but has been very friendly and gentle with children in the neighborhood who he has been able to meet on his walks.

KNOWN COMMANDS: He has just started training, but responds to his name and comes when called by it.

KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: Housebroken but needs regular walks and potty breaks throughout the day. Does not go to the bathroom in his crate, and is comfortable going in it.

KNOWN LIKES: Playing with other dogs and his foster sister, toys of all kinds (especially his llama plush toy and balls big enough to kick around), hanging out on the couch, and exploring and smelling new outdoor places on walks.

KNOWN DISLIKES: He does not seem to dislike anything at the moment, as everything is an adventure!

ABOUT RINGO: Ringo is a friendly, excited, and playful pup with boundless energy and a love for adventure and exploration. When it's time to relax, he is more than happy to curl up on the couch with you or sit in your lap for some pets. He will sit right next to you while chewing on a toy, and put his paws on or in your lap to stay close. Ringo is gentle and outgoing, and gets along well with almost everyone he meets, from other dogs to people and kids. He plays with his foster sister for most of the day, and they seem to have a lot of fun and enjoy each other's company. Ringo could be the perfect addition to any family looking for a loving, playful, and active companion.
