ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: I'm Chuey, but don't worry, I don’t chew on your stuff!
My fosters tell me that I'm a great dog, but sometimes can be a little loud. I get excited easily, and I don't try to hide it! They say that sometimes I can "come on too strong" (whatever that means) and would do best in a home with a secure 6 foot fence and without small children. I also need to be in a detached home, because some neighbors in apartments don't appreciate my great voice.
I'm a tender soul, and want everyone to be as happy as me! That's why I give so many hugs, giving hugs is one of my favorite things to do.
Right now I'm still learning how to walk on a leash, there are a lot of exciting things to see and especially to smell, and I want to explore them all. But I am getting better at being patient and walking nicely.
When I get too anxious and need to relax on my own, I go into my crate. The crate was scary at first, but it's now my pup-cave, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
