ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:

Meet Macallan! He is a 4 year old sweet, playful, snuggly 27 lb mixed breed. He is house trained, crate trained, and loves going for car rides. Macallan loves going for walks, playing the yard, watching movies, and eating.

His foster says:

Macallan is a very good boy. He has a big heart, playful demeanor, and enthusiasm for adventure. He loves being with his people. He is good with new people (adults and kids) coming into the house. He is great on walks and doesn’t react to other energetic dogs.

He sleeps all night in his kennel. He doesn’t whine or complain unless he sees I’ve come into the house and have taken more than 2 min to let him out.

He really is a sweet dog. He can play with others or entertain himself with toys. He is very easy going.

He is a BIG foodie with no GI troubles. Macallan loves fresh fruits and veggies - strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, kiwi, mangoes, apples, bananas. He also loves carrots, cucumbers, green beans, broccoli, cauliflower, and asparagus.

Macallan is very quiet in the house. He does NOT alert you for mail carrier or delivery person. He lets our resident dog put on her “vicious crazy dog “ performance.

Macallan is wonderful walking on leash. He enjoys sniffing around and leaving a tinkle signature. He is not reactive when encountering other barking or not barking dogs.

Macallan enjoys playing with our resident dog but is equally able to entertain himself with toys. He throws them up into the air, chases them, pounces on them, chews and squeaks away.

He is a pleasure to foster and would make a fantastic furever family pet.
