ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:
Stella is a 6-year-old terrier mix who has quite the spunk of a puppy as she is quite playful. Stella Bella enjoys engaging in a game of keep-away with her humans and readily enters zoomie mode when you pretend to chase her. She has been very sociable with other dogs at the dog park. Stella adores her stuffed toys and squeaky toys, but she has a tendency to rip them up
She walks quite well on the leash, although she tends to pull slightly at the beginning of her walks. She loves to smell all the new smells and see different people.
She enjoys spending time in the kitchen, especially when her foster is cooking, as she eagerly awaits any food that may fall from the counter. Treats are a favorite of hers, and she is highly motivated by food.
Stella is an affectionate companion who relishes the opportunity to spend time with her foster family, go for walks, and soak up the sun.
Stella is remarkably quiet, almost stealthy. The fosters main level features hardwood floors; Stella's movements are nearly inaudible, reminiscent of a cat.
She enjoys cuddling and loves to lie in sunny spots. When the weather is warm and sunny, she delights in being outdoors. Stella also enjoys playing tug and fetch with a tennis ball. She is particularly fond of belly rubs and ear massages. In the backyard, she can spend hours, in 30-minute intervals, gnawing on raw beef bones while basking in the sun.
