KNOWN WITH DOGS: Katy likes playing chase with some of the dogs in her playgroup and can have a vertical, mouthy playstyle; with others, she prefers to just hang out and sniff around

KNOWN WITH CATS: We do not currently know how they are with cats. If that is needed, let us know and we'll work on getting that information!

KNOWN WITH KIDS: Katy would prefer a home with adults or older children.

ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:

Attention all Labrador enthusiasts! We are excited to present the ideal canine companion for you: meet Katy! At just 2 years old, she embodies intelligence, independence, and unwavering loyalty. Katy is a true sweetheart, perfectly balancing her affectionate nature with a playful spirit that is sure to bring joy and laughter through her amusing antics. One of her most entertaining habits is getting the zoomies, where she joyfully bounds in circles on the bed and playfully throws herself against the couch, much to the amusement of her foster caregiver.

While Katy may initially be shy around strangers, her loyalty and affection become evident once she gets to know you. She cherishes quality time with her family, eagerly leaping onto the couch to shower them with kisses. Katy adores chin scratches, butt rubs, and belly rubs, which she finds particularly delightful.

Katy enjoys playing with squeaky toys and has a knack for extracting the squeakers, though she refrains from chewing on them. She loves engaging in playful chases with her fellow dogs in the playgroup but also values quiet moments to explore and sniff her surroundings.

Highly motivated by treats, Katy's favorites include hot dogs and cheese, and she is not a picky eater. She walks well on a leash, although she may pull if she spots a squirrel or bird—who can blame her? They are certainly entertaining to watch and chase.

If you appreciate cuddles, kisses, and plenty of laughter, Katy is the perfect match for you. Just be prepared for her to snuggle up to you as if she were the size of a Chihuahua, despite her larger stature. We assure you, once you meet her, you will be captivated by her charm.
