KNOWN WITH DOGS: Darla does just fine with other dogs. She came from a home with multiple dogs before she came to Homeward Trails.

KNOWN WITH CATS: We do not currently know how she is with cats. If that is needed, let us know and we'll work on getting that information!

KNOWN WITH KIDS: We don't know how Darla is with children. She is a little shy and may be startled by unpredictability and fast movements

KNOWN COMMANDS: Still gathering information on this! Stay tuned!

KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: Darla is quickly picking up house training. She is getting used to being crated.

KNOWN LIKES: Treats in her crate, well, really treats a lot of places.

Darla likes treats. People who respect her space her and being with her humans. We suspect, when Darla is comfy with a human she wants to be a lap dog.

KNOWN DISLIKES: People who move too quickly with her.

ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:

Darla is a very sweet little dog who wants to be with her humans and loves to be in her humans' lap. She is a bit shy but warms up quickly. Darla just moved to a foster home and is adjusting to a new place with a new human very well. She finds more urban streets a bit scary right now but we know she'll gain confidence in a little time.

Darla would love a home with a patient person or family with older respectful kids. She would do well as an only dog or in a home with another dog.
