ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:

Mosby is a five-year-old boxer mix who arrived at HT after his family relocated overseas. Unfortunately, they were unable to take him and his sister, Pig, along with them, which left them heartbroken. Both Mosby and Pig experienced profound sadness when their owners dropped them off at the center, unable to comprehend the situation. Mosby exhibited signs of anxiety, having accidents in his crate and trembling uncontrollably. The staff made every effort to ensure he felt safe and cherished during this difficult time.

Mosby was placed in a foster home as part of a Tails Out initiative, allowing the staff to gather valuable insights for potential adopters. Upon entering the foster home, Mosby eagerly explored his new surroundings, sniffing everything in sight. He even leaped onto the couch, showering the foster's mother with affectionate kisses, leaving her without the need to clean her face that evening. His tail wagged continuously as he engaged in his exploration.

Mosby is indeed house-trained, as he demonstrated by going to the back door to signal his need to go outside. He enjoys lounging on the couch beside his human companions, often choosing to lay on top of them. Interestingly, Mosby seems unaware of his size, believing himself to be a chihuahua who can comfortably sit on his person.

When mealtime arrived, Mosby patiently sat and awaited his food, leaving no crumbs behind. While the foster enjoyed her dinner, Mosby remained beside her, refraining from jumping on the table or begging, displaying remarkable thoughtfulness.

He delights in lounging on the couch, receiving belly rubs, showering his humans with kisses, and snuggling. At night, he loves to cuddle with his foster, seizing the chance to sleep on the bed if permitted.
