ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Gemma is a very sweet, playful, happy dog. She enjoys all kinds of toys and bringing them with her when she lays in the sun.
Gemma loves being with her people - human or dog. She will grab a toy and play with it on the floor in the kitchen while we are cooking or having breakfast. Gemma enjoys laying next to or on top of her people. She has long legs, so space to stretch out and be comfy is important to her. She loves being petted.
Gemma walks beautifully on a leash and very much enjoys sniffing around the neighborhood, meeting new people and animals.
Gemma eats her kibble like a young lady who went to finishing school for manners. She is NOT a resource guarder. She does like to eat near her people or resident dog. Otherwise, she takes a few bites and runs to the kitchen to see what's happening.
Gemma has LONG legs and loves to run. She is FAST. Think greyhound. She has a long, lean body and knows how to move quickly. . A fenced in yard with space to run and play would make Gemma very happy. A dog park also would.
Gemma is still a puppy so will jump when gets excited and the foster is working on that with her. She will occasionally pick up something to chew but is easily distracted if given something else to chew instead.
